Wow! 20 years. Well, graduated OU-'91. Masters from Brandeis U. near Boston-'94. Met my wife, Amy, at grad school. 10th anniversary in May '07. We have 2 daughters (Emma-7, Caroline-4). Boy, am I ever in trouble with two daughters. We live in Maryland. I've served for 6 years as G.M. for Aerus, a large international sales company. I did lots of performing/directing in films, theatres, commercials, modeling (believe it or not). Recently, I won a small stakes poker tournament at the Mirage in Vegas. Go Texas Holdem! I smile at the memories when looking at our class pictures. Some I can talk about-some I can't. I'm also amazed at the number of people from the class of '87 that are gone. They will be missed. Wishing our class the very best. Let's go Tigers!

WOW...how do I sum up 20 years??? So much has changed since 1987. God has blessed me with three beautiful children, Morgan (born in 1990), Ashley (1994) and Connor (1996) and have been happily married since 1989 to Casey Owens, an OKC Police Master Sergeant. Right after graduation, I toured across the US and in Europe as the lead vocalist with the Continental Brass & Singers. Afterward, I began singing concerts in churches and leading music for women's retreats and, more importantly, having babies. My ministries have afforded me the luxury of staying home with my kids, which is a HUGE blessing. I currently direct several Young Musicians Camps each summer in OK and South Carolina and sing with the Singing Churchwomen of Oklahoma. We are members of Graceway Baptist Church in OKC and live near Mustang, OK. I'm also an Independent Consultant and Area Manager with Arbonne International.

Took a few years off after high school and moved to Massachusetts. Got back into school in '91 and graduated UMASS Amherst with a BA in Political Science in '95. For what that's worth. I am a detective with the police department in Westfield, MA. I have been a police officer for a little over five years. Never saw myself as a cop but I suppose it suits me. Married for 9+ years to Marybeth. We have three boys, Braxton (7), Mason and Garrett (4). I would love to hear from you. I have been gone a long time with little to no contact with people from Norman.

Beverly (Barrett) Dinges

Wow. I don't remember everyone's hair being so fluffy...or feathered...or backlit. So...life after fluffy hair: went to college, got a M.S. in French Lit, lived in France, got married to my best friend, produced 2 impy yet loveable girls, moved to Newport, Rhode Island and now we live in Japan (where the sushi really is amazing). The French Lit degree has (shockingly!) led me to being a Jack of All Trades---which suits our family passion of exploring (the girls read this as getting lost) in foreign locales. Our next adventure is in Anghor Wat, Cambodia and next summer we move to Tokyo. Drop us a line if you ever wander this way...

Wow - 20 years - it's hard to believe! I graduated from OU with BS in Industrial Engineering. Worked at York Int'l, then C.H.Guernsey and now at Lucent Technologies for the past ten years. I married Jerry in 1991 and have two wonderful daughters, Jessica (11) and Shelby (8). We also have two adorable pugs, Blazer and Poker. We are big OU sports fans, NASCAR fans and love to travel.

I have to say that I've really enjoyed reading about the lives of so many people I used to know! Hmmm..a blurb that encompasses roughly 20 years of my life. Okay, here goes: After high school, I attended OU for two years but left to move to Los Angeles in order to pursue life as a rock/metal drummer. I had some mild success at this, but by early 1992 I decided that this was not the life that I wanted. I returned to Norman in 1992 and graduated from OU in the Spring of 1994 with a B.A. in Psychology. In the fall of 1994, I again returned to California but this time to pursue an M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. I graduated in September of 1999 with my Ph.D. I then completed a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology in upstate New York. I got married to my beautiful wife Cyndi in 2000 in New York. In 2001, we moved to the Northern Virginia area where I began working in private practice as a clinical psychologist/neuropsychologist. Currently, I am Director of Neuropsychology and the brain injury rehabilitation program at a Veterans Affairs Medical Center, although I continue to keep a part-time private practice. I continue to live with my wife and two dogs (a Greyhound and a German Shepherd) in the Northern Virginia area. My hobbies are writing and recording my own music, playing drums, and guitar. Hmmm...other interests include going on adventure trips to south and central american countries and studying/speaking Spanish. Would love to hear from you!

Attended and graduated from East Central University in Ada, OK.  Went to visit Greg Dumas in Missouri and met my wife, Tamra.  We have four children, two boys and two girls.  Working for the Metro Nashville Police Department since 1996 after working for the Norman Police Department.  Currently I am a Sergeant in the patrol division.  Was very suprised when I didn't see my name on the register.  Like to see more of our high school football pictures (I was #50).

P.S. When I skipped out on picture day my mom told me I'd regret it!
LOL

I went to OU and got my BS in Civil Engineering. I also met my husband Robert there. Then went to Washington State University and received my MS in Structural Engineering. We currently live in Stillwater where I stay home with our 4 children (3 boys and 1 girl - 8, 5, 2, and 4 months). I am involved with the youth at our church, Junior Service League, Cub Scouts, and volunteering in my children's classrooms. I enjoy book club, scrapbooking, and occasionally working out. I guess I should add that we are busy playing and coaching sports year round - basketball, baseball, and soccer. Even the 3 yr old is playing soccer and weeball this spring (he wants to be like his older brothers)! We also enjoy going snow skiing every year. My 8 year old is a much better skier than I am now!!

I live in Northport, Alabama where I work for a consulting firm as a professional archaeologist and travel all over the southeast. I love it, particularly getting to work outdoors. I visited Norman last year and cannot believe how much it has grown. Married and divorced, bald but in good health so life is good. Wish all my classmates and their families health, harmony, and prosperity for years to come. And oh my god I had a mullet.

After graduating from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1991 (with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing), I moved back to Norman and lived there until around 1995 (then moved to OKC because I was tired of commuting). I graduated from OU in 1996 with a Master of Science degree in Nursing. I worked at Baptist Hospital in cardiac, pulmonary, and medical-surgical care areas until 1997, then worked as the Assistant Director of Nursing at Epworth Villa Lifecare Retirement Community in OKC so that I could gain some long-term care experience. From there, I worked as Director of Nursing of a home health agency in OKC. In 2001, I opened my own home health agency specializing in cardiovascular and pulmonary home care (Heart Care at Home, LLC). I married very young while at OBU....but divorced a year later in 1991 (thank God). I remarried in 2003. My husband Chris and I have a little girl named Berkeley who is 18 months old. She is quite the handful. It's crazy chasing around a toddler at my age.....would have been easier in my 20's!!! Berkeley is absolutely my pride and joy. I am very blessed to have such a wonderful family and career.

MAN!!! Could someone please burn that picture? What grade was that anyway, 8th? I guess I should have gone to class more! I've been traveling around the U.S. working as an Operations Manager for a communications testing company, mainly C.A.T.V. networks. Spent the better parts of 1997 & 1998 in Japan as an Engineering Consultant for a partnership between Time Warner, U.S. West, Toshiba & Itochu. I have 3 wonderful children, Allyson 15, Danielle 5 and Chase 3. They keep me sane and out of trouble these days and I've finally called it quits and have planted roots back in Oklahoma. I'm currently working as a Demand Technician at Cox Communications. I hope everyone is doing well these days, and I'm saddened to learn of the deaths of some of my classmates. They will be missed.

how time flies....attended Univ of Okla.....obtained degree in Liberal Studies (after several on and off again stints)...moved to Columbus, OH in '95 and have been here ever since (met husband here). Never thought I'd live somewhere that had bigger football fans than Norman - I don't recall ever hearing about any Sooner fans rioting and starting fires in the streets like these crazy Ohio State Buckeyes. No kids - just cats (4 to be exact). I think that's all you need to know for now...if I see you at the reunion (which I hope I will)...I'll fill you in on more of the gorey details. Gotta save some stuff to make conversation with people I haven't seen in 20 years....:)

Carmen Bumgarner
[Ballwin, MO]
I attended Brandeis University, where I received a bachelors in Psychology.  I spent a semester abroad in the Dominican Republic where I became fluent in Spanish, thus sending me into a teaching career in Los Angeles when I graduated.  I taught with an organization called Teach For America in South Central LA and then outside of New York City.  I married my college sweetheart in 1995 and lived in Connecticut, then Kansas City, and now in St. Louis.  I've continued teaching in various venues, though am mainly an at-home mom now with my three children:  Maya (8), Tavis (6) and Iris (4).

Recently my husband and I were trained as foster parents and we are "fostering" our first child: a baby boy named Dexter who we hope to adopt this summer.  He turns one on 2/18/07!
