Went to college at Ouachita Baptist University.  Formed a Christian singing group called "Point of Grace" (along with year 1988 NHS grads Terry Lang and Heather Floyd). Stu and I got married and moved to Nashville with the group.  I've been with Point of Grace for 16 years.  During that time, I had my two boys Spence  (9) and Price (6).  My parents still live in Norman, so we spend most every Christmas there, but we really love Tennessee. However, I'm still a Sooner fan.  (Even named one of my dogs Boomer)  I can't complain. I'm loving life and feel extremely blessed.

I have two degrees from the University of Oklahoma in Anthropology (which makes me twice as obnoxious during football season) and a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado, Boulder in Biological Anthroplogy.  I spent 3 years working at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC.  I am currently a forensic anthropologist and professor at San Diego State University, CA.  I work in the Southeastern US (Oklahoma and Spiro Mounds), California, Oaxaca, Mexico, and the New York African Burial Ground, to name a few. Ceren, El Salvador is hopefully next on my list of adventures; the "Pompeii of the New World".  I have been fortunate enough to make my hobby my career.  But, driving to the beach in my convertible is my favorite thing to do.  And no matter where all my travels take me, I love to come home to Norman and see my family and friends.

[Broomfield, CO]
I graduated from the University of Colorado in 1991 and have stayed in Colorado working in Boulder. I gave my heart to Lori Epperson back in 1983 and it took 12 years to finally convince her to marry me. We have 3 kids and love living in Colorado. We missed the 10 year reunion and can't wait to see everyone.

Jenny (McIntosh) Flax
[Norman, OK]
I graduated from O.U in May of 1991, and by January of 1993 I was happily married, a new mother and living on an Army base in Alabama.  The ensuing 14 years have included the births, and or adoption, of three more children, (Sam 1993, Abby 1996, William 1998, Jack 2002)and too many moves to count.  We are finally settled down into our lives in West Norman where I enthusiastically fold laundry, bark orders and tie shoes all day long.  Good thing I have that B.A. in English Lit.  My husband of 15 years works hard at keeping all of us happy while growing his busy Optometry practice, also in West Norman.

Organizing the 10 year reunion, without any committee or much help, pretty much has left a permanent scar on my psyche.  Had I not been miserably pregnant 10 years ago, I feel certain, I would have enjoyed the whole experience a bit more.  Needless to say, the group that is doing our 20 year has my complete admiration.  I know it will be a great gathering, and I can't wait to see all of you who have moved away.

I worked as the fitness director for the Norman YMCA before I started my career at the University of Oklahoma. I am currently the Director for the Leadership Center in the College of Business. I have a beautiful wife, Samantha, an awesome daughter, Rachel, and new son, Eric, who was born in March. I have been blessed and am loving life!!

I spent 10 years in Boulder Colorado, earning my BA and MA in Art History, then working at CU as an instructor and art librarian. In a strange turn of events, I moved back to Oklahoma to work in the information technology field, first for Apple Inc. (where I met my husband Eric) then in the IT departments at UCO and OU. I currently teach at OU in the School of Library and Information Studies, and am only a thesis away from completing a masters degree in Knowledge Management.

Graduated from OU with a Classics degree.  I have lived in Tulsa, Arlington, Dallas, Austin, and Milford, CT.  Been back in Norman for 3 years.  I was married on July 1st, 2006.  Planning a honeymoon in Europe in October.  I work for World's Fair in Edmond.  We manage 8 record labels and a bunch of bands (including the Flaming Lips).  I am very active in the local music scene and I help book live bands at Liberty D's and the Opolis.  I just found my calling in life- Roller Derby.  The new OKC League just started a few months ago and I am on a team called the Homewrecking Harlots.  One of my biggest passions is making Oklahoma a better place to live.  I want to help promote creativity and attract artistic people to move here (or not to move away from here).

This is a tribute to Gary Meyer. Gary was a great husband and friend. He had two boys Jacob Meyer now 15 and Jordan Meyer now 12. The boys are doing well and remember their dad fondly. I have continued the business we had started, Alliance Vending, and have remarried. We miss him and will always keep him in our hearts. Cherie Weyand

Carter Miller
[Ilheus, Brazil]
I visited Norman this summer to catch up with the folks. My mother Carrie has turned into a professional quilter, while Mr. Miller (for those unfortunate to have been tortured by him during PE at Monroe) is a `pro` coffee drinker at the OU Golf Clubhouse. I wish there were enough hair left to have it parted. It has all seemingly migrated to nether regions. I try to find solice through inner peace, partly due to the lack of remaining brain cells to lesson the worry. For this reunion (if I could attend) I would suggest capirinhas in stead of those margaritas, beins that its my adopted country`s national drink. Janisete and I attend The Church of Itacarezinho Beach, religiously, every sunday with our two little ones, Nimo and Raj. Nimo goes for the surf crabs, while Raj is your classic coconut retriever. Here my very patient spouse (between giving classes on evilution and microbiojumbo to the impressionable youth of Brazil, as well as sacrificing endangered giant ants to the science gods) does willingly succumb to tests of my latest concoctions as I search for the world`s best cacao recipe. (Diagram that Mr. Powell!)

I graduated from O.U in 1993 with a B.S. in Physical Therapy. I traveled a bit after college and ultimately ended up in Dallas. I thought I would only be here a couple years, but now it's 11 years later. I married in 1999 and we now have two great little kids. Avery is 3 years old and makes a convincing case that she is a princess. Lucas is 11 months old and believes everyone is so funny, including himself. I stay very busy working as a Physical Therapist, being a mom, getting my PhD at Texas Tech (sorry O.U), and getting involved with various projects, and I still find time to play the flute (for those who remember me from band).

[Glenpool, OK]
Finally graduated OU with a degree in Mgmt. Info. Systems in 1994 after spending several years in Washington D.C. After that, moved to Dallas, TX, Austin, TX, back to Dallas and FINALLY settled in the small town of Glenpool, OK (just South of Tulsa). Married in 1998, divorced in 2007 with two kids, Lily and Josh. I have been working the past 6 years as a Construction Manager for Simmons Homes in Jenks, OK. My 30 seconds of fame occurred last year (2006) on Extreme Makeover Home Edition. That was quite the experience, and one I don't wish to encounter again anytime soon. Lily is almost 11 and has been a cheerleader for the last 6 years. Josh just turned 7 and has been playing T-ball/baseball for the past 3 years as well as going into his second year of football. Do they start them early these days or what? They are both quite the athletes (must have gotten that from their mom). Needless to say they keep me pretty busy, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I don't know if I will make the 20 year reunion, I am one of the coaches on my sons baseball team and we are scheduled to play in a tournament that weekend. I can't believe it has been 20 years already, Wow.

Julie (Moring) Bigbee
[Norman, OK]
First, I think it's impossible that it's been twenty years! I live in Norman where I'm raising my son who is almost 7. I've enjoyed living in Boston over the years as well as the DC area. Loved them both but wanted to raise the kiddo back in Norman. During all this time I feel lucky enough to have had experiences like attending MIT and Harvard for a year while doing research in Indian Education, to have interned at the Smithsonian's Natural History Museum library, and worked as an archivist with the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. Now, I'm settled back in Norman where I am a librarian at the Norman Public Library. Shocking isn't it?? It's all good ;) I spend my spare time (what spare time!) attending the local Native church, attending my son's sporting events, and being with my boyfriend and his four year old as much as possible. We've been together for a year now and I couldn't be happier. I didn't make it to the 10 year so I'm excited about seeing many of you this summer!

Dennis Morren
[Blanchard, OK]
I don't have enough room here to write down what I have "been up to" since High school. Here's a few little tid-bits: I've played Jesus Christ in Blanchard's Easter pageant a few times and Judas once. Who'd have thunk it? Yes, I really am the same quiet little DENNIS. (re-wrote the play one year to bring the play into modern times) I have started a small photography business with my sister Emily. We don't make much money, but I get to be creative and get paid... that's cool (I would do it for free anyway and sometimes do.)See some of ny stuff at www.dennismorren.com. I have worked for The Main Gallery in Norman for the past 16 years. (I had to do something involving Art...) I currently am helping to bring our church in Blanchard into the 21st century with video production and multimedia. In a week or 2 we will be picked up by our local cable company to broadcast our services every Sunday morning on Pioneer Digital TV channel 152. It's kind of funny because our pastor is always running down TV Preachers. God does have a sense of humor. That is too cool. Married a girl who just would not leave me alone in my drafting class at vo-tech. 15yrs. 3 kids. (one hers & two ours) The oldest just graduated this year. Dang, I AM getting old. I think I am going to need a nap after all that.

After high school, I met my husband. I went to nursing school at the OU college of nursing. We got married and had 2 kids, boy and girl. We now live back in Norman and love it. I currently work for INTEGRIS Health as an RN in the IT department. Can't wait to see old friends at the reunion.

After graduating from college in Los Angeles in aerospace engineering, I went to Taiwan to study Chinese. I have been living in Taiwan and traveling around Asia for the last 15 years. I run my own company which offers contract product development services, specializing in integrated software/hardware and web applications. My wife Jessie and I have two daughters, Lisa and Kathy, now nine and seven years old. I probably won't be in town for the 20th reunion, but it would be great to catch up. You can reach me by email at jake@cogini.com.
